Alton Reid was a lot more then someone once arrested for gang involvement. He was a loving and caring man who went out of his way to let the people he loved know how he felt. He deserves more respect and compassion then the media is showing. Alton Reid did not show up at that party armed or looking for any trouble he is the victim and should get the respect that any other victim is given.
Alton Reid was a very loving person who was always out to help others. This murder has highly affected the community through the kids that are left without that one man who never ignored them. He was a father to all the kids in the community who had none present. The media is concentrating on the negative side of his life which can not compare to the positives. This man never killed put only protected. Project Pathfinder only arrested these 65 individuals as comfort to the community. They arrested anyone who ‘looked’ like a thug or associated with the sort, during this investigation. The media needs to show Alton the respect he deserves and find the murderer!
