St. Catharines Catholic bishop quits, cites stamina
The Roman Catholic bishop of a southern Ontario diocese has unexpectedly resigned his post. Bishop James Wingle says in a letter to the Diocese of St. Catharines that the Pope has accepted his resignation, effective today.
